Burke, VA Market Report – 5/27/13

27 May
May 27, 2013

The average sold price for homes in Burke has increased by $33,000, just since January. While units sold are down, prices continue to rise and days on market are down to about a month.

It’s becoming a seller’s market again, folks. nventory is dwindling as less people are selling, increasing the demand for those homes that do come on the market.

We have a perfect storm. If you’re ready to sell, we have buyers wanting to buy. Interest rates are still at an incredibly low rate, and after seeing first-hand how quickly prices are going up, it’s no wonder they’re ready to jump in and take the plunge.  There won’t be a better opportunity as prices continue to rise.
